SimpleClaims Integration

GroupManager integrates with SimpleClaims (by Buuz135) to synchronize group membership with the land claim system. When both plugins are installed, group members are automatically registered as allies in SimpleClaims, allowing them to interact with each other's claimed areas.

How It Works

When a player forms or joins a group, GroupManager automatically adds all group members as allies in each other's SimpleClaims parties. This means that if you claim a piece of land using SimpleClaims, your group members will be able to build, break blocks, and interact within your claimed area — without you having to add each one manually.

Automatic Ally Sync

GroupManager keeps ally status in sync with group membership at all times:

EventWhat Happens
A player joins a groupThey are added as an ally to all existing group members in SimpleClaims, and vice versa
A player leaves a groupTheir ally status with former group members is removed
A player is kicked from a groupSame as leaving — ally connections are cleaned up
A group is disbandedAll ally connections between former members are removed
The server startsGroupManager syncs all existing groups with SimpleClaims on startup

Manual Alliances Are Preserved

If you manually add someone as an ally through SimpleClaims (outside of GroupManager), that alliance is never removed by GroupManager. The plugin only manages the alliances it created — your manual alliances remain untouched, even if the other player is not in your group.

Quick Access from Group UI

When SimpleClaims is installed, a "SimpleClaims" button appears in the Group UI. Clicking it opens the SimpleClaims interface directly, so you can manage your claims and party settings without leaving the group panel.

Setup

No configuration is needed. The integration is fully automatic:

  1. Install both GroupManager and SimpleClaims on your server.
  2. Start the server.
  3. GroupManager detects SimpleClaims at startup and activates the integration.

If SimpleClaims is not installed, GroupManager works normally without any errors or warnings — the integration simply remains inactive.
